Suit: Jos A Bank / Shirt: Perry Ellis / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: Black leather
Couldn't decide whether to go with the back up tie or not this morning.
* If you don't already, I highly recommend you keeping a spare tie at your cubicle. You never know when it might come in handy (wardrobe malfunction, impromptu executive meeting, blood/crip visitation, etc).

First day back from vacation...oh look, the weekend's already around the corner :-D
Decided to go with the light grey cords today to offset the dark pullover.

Shirt: H&M / Belt: GAP / Pants: Old Navy
Flew from NYC to LA today, here's the simple outfit I wore during the trip.
As I prefer comfort over anything else, I decided to roll with a pair of bequem seersucker pants I got on sale at Old Navy for about $8.
If you haven't already, go out and get a couple of basic long-sleeve shirts from H&M, they are super comfy, come in a wide assortment of colors (I prefer the bolder hues btw) and provide a great basis to build outfits from.
Packed and ready to go... Yeah I like to pack light...
Mashing out Saturday morning to catch the flight...

10/16/09 - Friday
Sweater: H&M / Shirt: Barrington / Belt: GAP / Pants: Lucky jeans
Here's an outfit you could find me typically wearing on the weekend.
Again, I hate suffering from visible-undershirt-syndrome so I opted for a V-neck undershirt to avoid this.
Argyle patterns aren't just for socks and sweater-vests, dangit! (Me venting)

Here's a slim tie/shirt combination that has been worn previously, paired with a suit.
As Egooneezer would say, "not bad".

Shirt: Ralph Lauren / Tie: Hardy Amies / Belt: GAP / Pants: Claiborne
Don't know why but this outfit has a little bit of coastal Connecticut in it. May be due to the nautical undertones.
Meh.
Whatever it was, my initial skepticism towards this outfit was erased after actually trying it on.

Guest Feature - CSI New York
Suit: Barney's New York / Shirt: Charles Tyrwhitt / Tie: Thomas Pink / French cuffs: Thomas Pink
Featured here is a outfit worn by a man affectionately called Mr. CSI here at work. If you even attempt to try and pull shenanigans in the office, best believe he will be on to your act faster than you can say "I thought I was sending it to my personal email account".
Office mates were especially grateful for this aesthetically pleasing outfit he wore today, as it stood out in the sea of black/charcoal suits.
More importantly, it helped announce his arrival from far away. If you weren't able to shut down whatever you are doing in the extra 6 seconds you have been afforded, you deserved to be caught by Mr. CSI.
"Is there something you would like to show me, Chester?"

Shirt: Calvin Klein / Tie: Jos A Bank / Vest: Club Room / Belt: GAP / Pants: Calvin Klein
Threw a vest into the mix today.
Personal preference, but I generally like to have the vest color contrast the outfit.

Casual Friday. Leaned a bit towards the formal side of things today.
All blek everything, sans the shirt

Shirt: Arrow / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis Portfolio
Had to break out the pullover, it's getting quite chilly these days.
Going one-on-fifty against NYC cabbies. I won.
