9/28/09 - Monday

Shirt: Aeropostale / Tie: Puritan / Belt: GAP / Pants: Calvin Klein

Just like with the other Aeropostale shirt I got this shirt for no more than $8 at their outlet store just northeast of Atlanta, GA.

Pretty cool design, imo.

Makes me feel like I work for an ad agency (no Mad Men).

9/26/09 - Saturday

The WeekEnder:

Cardigan: Heritage 1981 (Forever 21) /Shirt: Russell / Belt: GAP / Pants: H&M jeans (Bragg)

Hai gaiz,

Hope all is well. :-D

I decided to start posting outfits worn outside of work*. Don't worry, I'll only post outfits that may be of interest to you. In other words I'll lay off on showing you guys some of the insane sweatshirt/pant combinations I come up with on the weekend.

* For easy reference I'll append "TheWeekender" label to such posts.

So without further ado, here's an outfit I wore over the weekend. My favorite college football team (University of Texas @ Austin) played this weekend so I had to represent while keeping it somewhat fashionable.

9/25/09 - Friday

Shirt: Express / Belt: GAP / Pants: Express jeans / Socks: Banana Republic

Casual Friday outfit.

Nothing too crazy. Purposefully color-coordinated the socks with the shirt today, which was somewhat out of habit.

* Wore a watch as well, which was of no use from a functional point of view (like everyone else these days I use my cell-phone to check the time).

Falling back after PreGame chest bump/spin with mirror...

9/24/09 - Thursday

Suit: Hart Schaffner & Marx / Shirt: Van Heusen / Tie: Barneys New York / Belt: GAP

Here's a Hart Schaffner & Marx suit I inherited from my pops.

The classic American cut results in a great fit.

Rare example of a great suit/tie/shirt combination. Added to my favorites list.

Hate when people try and brag about the labels they wear. Here's a guy trying to let the whole world know that he's sporting a Hart Schaffner Marx suit(smh):

9/23/09 - Wednesday

Shirt: Izod / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Calvin Klein
Visualize success.
"You see it on my face,
you see it in my eyes,
you see me on the grind
and you'll see me when I shine"

9/22/09 - Tuesday

Shirt: Michael Brandon / Tie: Puritan / Belt: GAP / Pants: Haggar
Love this shirt.
Tend to pair it almost exclusively with black ties.

9/21/09 - Monday

Suit: Jos A Bank / Shirt: Jos A Bank /Tie: Geoffrey Beene / Belt: GAP

Photoshoot at the telly:

Wore a suit to work today (no Chopper).

Liked how it turned out.

9/18/09 - Friday

Shirt: Perry Ellis / Tie: Calvin Klein / Belt: GAP / Pants: GAP

Pinstripes.

Yankee fans would be proud.

9/17/09 - Thursday

V-Neck Shirt: Hanes / Cardigan: .... / Belt: H&M/ Pants: H&M Jeans (Bragg)

Outfit I wore to an afterwork meetup. Super casual.

And to think some people can wear this to work any day.

Side note: I had to take a picture of the biggest digital "point & shoot" camera I had ever seen. Check out the relic below :

9/16/09 - Wednesday

Shirt: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

Enjoy the casual dress looks while they last.

It looks like I'm headed towards our East coast offices, where suits and ties are de rigueur.

Yeah, totally dude.

9/15/09 - Tuesday

Shirt: Perry Ellis / Vest: Club Room / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

Perfecting my spidey stance

White striped shirt, khaki pants and I decided to throw a blue vest into the mix.

Ended up turning into decent-looking ensemble, in my opinion.

If there is anything you pick up from reading this blog, let it be the following: Don't be afraid to try different looks. It helps you both develop & propagate your own distinct sense of style.

9/14/09 - Monday

Shirt: Ralph Lauren / Tie: Puritan / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis / Socks: Banana Republic

Decided to mix things up and throw a "casual" ties into the mix. Casual by my standards, anyhow. I say this because I have seen such ties in the streets worn by gents on their way to work.
I guess it can be deemed corporate-office worthy. Not sure if I'll wear it to work again though.

Originally purchased the tie at Wal-mart for casual wear. Think it cost something like $8.

9/11/09 - Friday

Shirt: Polo / Belt: GAP / Pants: Aeropostale jeans

Went for the real casual look this Friday.

* Shirt was tucked in during business hours of course.

9/10/09 - Thursday

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Belt: Express/ Pants: Kenneth Cole Reaction

Decent outfit.

Here's how it looks combined with a vest.

9/09/09 - Wednesday

Shirt: BCBG//Attitude shirt / Belt: GAP / Pants: Claiborne

No tie today... Liking these wool/polyester pants I recently picked up at Ross.

Worth mentioning: The right back pocket doesn't feature a button, as opposed to the left back pocket which includes a flap/button. The asymmetrical pocket layout actually suits me fine b/c I favor keeping my wallet in my right back pocket (unbuttoned of course for easy access), which means I typically end up keeping the left back pocket buttoned.

- I probably shouldn't have mentioned this tendency, ** cough**.

I'm out...
