04/27/10 - Tuesday

Vacation

Shopping for kicks close to Harajuku.

How does one say monkey brains in Japanese?

04/26/10 - Monday

Hoodie: H&M / Shirt: Old Navy / Belt: GAP / Pants: Express

Decked out in unassuming, non-attention grabbing (albeit very comfortable) gear.

The locals had my friend and I clearly beat in regards to stylish gear. Notice in the pic above for example how the two girls are wearing similar skirts but still manage to lend their own, individual flavor to the rest of the outfit.

Lesson #13 learned over the course of this trip: Things aren't always what they seem, lol.

04/24/10 - Saturday

Sweater: H&M / Shirt: Barrington / Pants: Lucky Brand

Tokyo ended up being chillier than I expected, so the sweaters were called to duty early and often.

Kampai! Now settle your bill, NMCers

Vacation

Tokyo, Japan. Caught a first glimpse of the sartorial landscape. Overall impression: Solid. People know how to dress here.

04/22/10 - Thursday

Shirt: - / Tie: - / Belt: - / Pants: -

Last day of work until vacation.

Will be taking a brief hiatus from posting (business attire, at least) as I'm heading off to Japan for a week.

Geeked, never been to Asia before.

Shirt: Jos A Bank / Tie: Old Navy / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

And so the countdown begins...

2 more days until vacation...

Shirt was clearly designed for men with beer bellies.
Taking it to the tailor to have have the sides taken in.

04/20/10 - Tuesday

Shirt: Van Heusen / Tie: Geoffrey Beene / Belt: GAP / Pants: GAP

Need to add these pants to the lineup more often.

They fit well and are very comfortable to boot.

Practicing the "I just got a raise and haters gonna hate" stroll. Never know when it will come in handy.

Shirt: Van Heusen / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Calvin Klein

New shirt, really liking it.

Goes to show that not all white shirts are created the same.

They say you should always walk around with purpose around the office...

04/14/10 - Wednesday

Suit: Jos A Bank / Shirt: Merona / Tie: DKNY / Belt: -

Got the shirt from Target, for under $20.

Their work-wear selection varies by store but the prices are usually pretty attractive.

04/13/10 - Tuesday

Shirt: Express (80's Two-Ply Cotton) / Tie: J.Crew / Belt: GAP / Pants: Roundtree/Yorke

Think I prefer black (vs. khaki) pants with the shirt /tie ensemble...

Saturday, July 17, 2010

04/12/10 - Monday

Shirt: Chaps / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

Putting my best foot forward, hah.

Can't go wrong with this combo.

Simple but stylish.

Worn without a vest this time.

Slickly shifting subjects

04/08/10 - Thursday

Shirt: Arrow / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

Here's a similar outfit with black pants. Think I prefer that one better.
