Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Tie: Geoffrey Beene / Belt: GAP / Pants: Claiborne

Solid outfit, although I think this shirt/tie combination trumps it.

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Tie: Uniqlo / Belt: Express / Pants: Calvin Klein

Picked up this gingham-pattern tie at Uniqlo recently for around $11, I believe. If you are ever in the New York area I would highly recommend checking out the store.

Reenacting my drive to work.
What would this blog be without ridiculous poses you can use to make fun of moi?

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Tie: H&M / Belt: Express / Pants: Calvin Klein

Try to keep things clean when opting for the skinny tie.

The brown pants provide a nice contrast to the black on white shirt combo.

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Belt: Express/ Pants: Kenneth Cole Reaction

Decent outfit.

Here's how it looks combined with a vest.

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene shirt / Belt: GAP / Pants: Michael Brandon

Really like the shirt. It lends as formal a look as one could have without wearing a tie... Not sure what tie I could pull off with it anyway...

7/13/09 - Monday

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Tie: Jos A Bank / Belt: GAP / Pants: Calvin Klein / Socks: Banana Republic

One of my favorite ties. If I'm voluntarily wearing a tie (when the casual dress code is in effect) it had better be one I'm somewhat partial to. Like the socks as well.

* Tip: If you ever have your purchase get "stuck" in the vending machine, give it a quick flying -kick. You can try shaking the machine, but you better have the upper-body strength/leverage to hold it up if it tips over. My method affords you the opportunity to roll away in the unlikely event of the machine tipping over.

* If you have the space, lay into it

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Tie: Hardy Amies / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

Decided to mix things up today by wearing a tie. My neck wasn't too enthused.

5/07/09 - Thursday

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Tie: Perry Ellis Portfolio / Belt: Invisible / Pants: Dockers

Decided to support the "no belts" movement today. I actually "forgot" to wear them prior to leaving for work. This, by the way, is why I "hate" new surroundings, it throws my routine off, lol.

I did manage to provide my friends with ample smack(talk)-material, however. Hey, anything I can do make them feel like they are next coming of Russell Peters, I guess.

3/20/09 - Friday

Shirt: Geoffrey Beene / Vest:Club Room/ Belt: GAP / Pants: Kenneth Cole Reaction

Ahhh casual Friday. At my job all this means is that ties are optional (nobody opts to wear them).

I'm not quite sure if I'm liking the slacks. They looked decent when I tried them on but after wearing them for a bit they don't seem to be too comfortable. Oh well, didn't pay too much for them (got them at Ross).

* Tip: Mixing in a vest over a patterned shirt adds a chic look to the otherwise staid shirt/khaki corporate uniform. It also lets you get away with slightly rumpled shirts ;-)

3/18/09 - Wednesday

3/18/09 Shirt:Geoffrey Beene / Tie:Old navy / Belt: GAP / Pants: Roundtree & Yorke

This really works really well. Intricate upon closer inspection. Note that the pant and tie colors are reflected in the shirt. The slim (but not quite skinny) tie from Old navy keeps things somewhat edgy but not Will.I.am-ish.
