Shirt: Company Polo / Belt: GAP / Pants: Brandini

Tend to pair these pin-striped slacks with white shirts, last time it was with a guayabera. A regular white polo works fine though.

Shirt: Polo / Belt: GAP / Pants: Aeropostale jeans

Went for the real casual look this Friday.

* Shirt was tucked in during business hours of course.

Shirt: Polo / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis Portfolio

Got the polo shirt as gift. Its a bit on the baggy side. Like the pants though. Cloth pattern is intricate yet subtle.

* Catching a roll of toilet paper thrown to my opposite shoulder... Not to be modest or anything but I think I easily have the best hands in the office.

Shirt: GAP Polo / Belt: GAP / Pants: Dockers Collection / Watch: Diesel

Switched it up today and went casual. Might as well enjoy the "casual summer-wear" movement while it lasts. Note that for casual corporate wear one generally wants to don clothes that (a) fit and (b) are somewhat modest as far as logos/patterns are concerned.

* Fashion gurus would probably suggest that your watchband color match your belt/shoes.

8/14/09 - Friday

Shirt: H&M polo / Belt: Express / Pants: H&M Jeans (Bragg)

Casual Friday... spiced up an otherwise bland outfit by substituting the ubiquitous white undershirt with a mustard yellow one. While it doesn't quite "match" with any other part of the outfit, it creates a great contrast, in my opinion. Interestingly enough, my sister served as inspiration. I have seen her apply this concept to her outfits (dress vs. shoe color).

Heh. Couldn't quite go for the yellow pants and the black pants so this will have to do. :-D

I like bold-colored polos, but the downside to them is that they eventually fade after a couple of washes. I might have to put this one out to pasture in the near future, or relegate it to casual-affair (i.e.non-work) duty.

7/17/09 - Friday

Shirt: Ralph Lauren / Belt: GAP / Pants: Express (X2) / Shoes: Shane & Shawn - Floyyd

Jeans Friday. Almost forgot about these white jeans. The outfit had the ladies at the office going nuts for some reason.

I think it mainly had to do with the shoes I chose to wear today: DETNY's by Shane & Shawn. The particular model in question, Floyyd turned this outfit into a Fashion Center Satorial Play of the Day candidate.

This super-comfy shoe competently combines form and function. The perforated leather allows for breathability, the rubber outsole provides excellent grip and the shoe is extremely light.

The only issue I have with these slip-ons is exactly that: they cause my feet to slip. The padded footsole lining inside provides great comfort, but will cause your foot to slip around in the shoe if you happen to wear socks. As you guys already know, I often make sharp, deft cuts when juking coworkers in the hall or breaking down shell-shocked janitors determined to impede me from blowing up the restroom once again.

Back to the usual, casual summer fare today... Co-workers said they were able to spot me a mile away from work. Everyone's a comedian.

Shirt: Ralph Lauren / Belt: GAP / Pants: Perry Ellis

Simple polo/slack combo. Aside from color/pattern selection, always make sure to pay attention to fit. You want to feel comfortable but at the same time look smart, as the British say).

*If doing the following splits your pants straight down the crotch area, you probably need to wear a larger size or two.

5/15/09 - Friday

Shirt: Company polo / Belt: GAP/ Pants: J. Crew

These pants look great, they unfortunately don't fit well at all.

Company polo is unfortunately way too big. How big? Lets just say if I had to jump out of a plane I'd float down to safety with the rest of the passengers clutching on to me. nh. At least I know that I'll be able to wear it decades from now.

4/03/09 - Friday

Shirt: Ralph Lauren polo / Pants: Calvin Klein

Polo shirt (plus) Khakis (minus) the usual beer gut = Anorexic corporate goon.

The color of the polo would be considered too bold for most corporate heads, I would recommend going with either soft-colored pastels or white/black polos.
